It really makes my day when a first time customer comes into the store and asks, "Do you have any used books?" I just laugh and tell them most of the books are used. A used book store doesn't have to look and act like it belongs in a Dickens' novel.

Well, you could ask for a book that we don't have in stock. We can special order it for you and ship it right to your door. We also have unique gifts, family games, and Bookmate reading accessories.

Saturdays are a special treat with Billy, my Old English Sheepdog, acting as the official greeter. He seems to think that people come just to see him. He might just be right; he loves people as much as they love him. "Little people" are his favorite.
